FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers actually ask us, answered the way we would want them answered.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

For standard casters and bin hardware, our MOQ starts from 500–1,000 pieces depending on the item. For custom fabrication, we regularly run first prototypes and small pilot batches — the laser and press brake make short runs economical. Tell us your quantity and we will quote it honestly.

Can you work from my drawings? What file formats do you accept?

Yes. STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF and PDF prints all work. If all you have is a sample or a sketch with key dimensions, our engineers can produce the fabrication drawing for your approval before we cut metal.

Do you provide samples? Are they free?

For standard items we can often send existing samples free of charge — you pay only the courier. For custom parts, sample cost depends on tooling; we deduct a portion of it from your first bulk order.

What is your typical lead time?

Standard catalog items: 15–25 days after deposit. Custom fabricated parts: 25–40 days depending on tooling and surface treatment. Rush schedules are possible — ask us before you assume not.

What tolerances can you hold?

Laser cutting: approximately ±0.1–0.2 mm. CNC bending and forming: ±0.3–0.5 mm on typical brackets. Machined diameters and lengths: to drawing, with grinding available for critical fits. We will confirm feasibility for your specific part before quoting.

What materials do you work with?

Mild steels (Q195/Q235/Q345, S235/S355), 45# and other medium-carbon steels, 201/304/316 stainless, and aluminum on request. Material certificates are available for every order.

What surface treatments can you offer?

Electro-galvanizing (clear/blue/yellow/black), hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, e-coating, and polishing or passivation for stainless. Our plating partners are audited annually and located within a short distance of the factory.

How do you control quality?

Incoming material verification, first-article inspection on every setup, in-process spot checks, and final AQL sampling before packing. Critical geometry is checked in dedicated fixtures designed in-house — see examples on our fabrication page.

What are your shipping terms?

We ship worldwide from nearby ports (Ningbo / Shanghai). FOB, CIF, DAP — we quote in the Incoterm you prefer, and full-container consolidation of mixed items from our three product lines is routine.

What payment terms do you accept?

T/T with 30% deposit and balance against B/L copy is standard; L/C at sight for established accounts. For long-term programs we are flexible — let's talk.

Are you a factory or a trading company?

A factory. Cutting, bending, welding, stamping, turning and assembly all happen in our own workshop in Jiaojiang, Taizhou. Plating and coating run through audited local partners because those lines are specialized — but we control the specification and inspect the result. You are welcome to audit either.

Will you sign an NDA before we send drawings?

Yes, and we prefer it. Send your own NDA or ask for ours. Drawings, models and tooling data are never shared with other customers, and we do not manufacture a customer's proprietary part for anyone else.

Who owns the tooling if you make it?

You do, once you have paid for it. Tooling is stored free of charge for two years after your last order and shipped to you on request. We do not reuse your tooling for other customers.

How do you pack for sea freight?

Export cartons on pallets, VCI film or oil film on machined surfaces, strapping and edge protection as required. Before the container leaves we send photos of the loading plan and the sealed container — you see what we shipped, not what we say we shipped.

Can you consolidate several products in one container?

Yes, and it is routine. Fabricated parts, bin hardware and casters from our three lines ship together, which is often the difference between an economical order and one that is not.

What is your monthly capacity?

It depends on the mix — a container of bent frames and a container of turned pins are very different loads. Tell us your forecast and we will tell you honestly whether it fits, and what a second shift would cost if it does not.

What if parts arrive out of specification?

Send photos and measurements; we investigate the batch record and replace or credit the affected quantity. We ask that claims are raised within 30 days of arrival, which is long enough to inspect a shipment and short enough to trace the production run.

Do you provide inspection reports or PPAP-style documentation?

Yes. Dimensional reports with the sample, material certificates with every shipment, and RoHS / REACH declarations on request. If your quality system needs a first-article report in a specific format, send the template and we will fill it in.
